Thousands of meme coins launch every day on pump.fun, PumpSwap, four.meme, Base and other chains. Most of them go to zero within hours, and a good share are built to steal from buyers. This free scanner shows you new launches as they happen and runs a rug, honeypot and holder check on any token in seconds, right in your browser. You do not need an account, a wallet or an API key.
⚡What this meme coin scanner does
The tool has two parts that work together. The live new-launches feed pulls fresh pools from GeckoTerminal and new token profiles and boosts from DexScreener. It merges them, removes duplicates and shows up to 100 tokens at a time, refreshed about every 20 seconds. It is meme-first by default: the Meme coins only switch is on, so you see pump.fun, PumpSwap, LetsBonk, four.meme, Zora and Clanker launches first.
The token analyzer takes a name, a ticker, a contract address or a DexScreener link. It works out the chain, lists the matching tokens and picks the most liquid pair. You then get a full dashboard:
- Price, plus change over 5 minutes, 1 hour, 6 hours and 24 hours.
- Liquidity, market cap and FDV.
- 24-hour volume and the volume-to-liquidity ratio.
- Buys, sells and buy pressure.
- Pair age, DEX and chain.
- A safety scan and a 0 to 100 risk score, with every point explained in plain words.
📡How to use the live launches feed safely
A new-launches feed is a firehose. The point is not to buy what appears first. The point is to throw away the 95% you should never touch, fast. Use the presets as starting points:
- Just launched: tokens younger than 5 minutes. They are almost all on a bonding curve, so liquidity is the curve itself. Treat these as pure lottery tickets, if anything.
- Trending memes: under 24 hours old, with at least 200 transactions, $20k of volume and buy pressure of 45% or more. This catches tokens that real people are actually trading.
- Graduated from pump.fun: tokens that finished the bonding curve and moved to PumpSwap or Raydium. Graduation is not a safety badge, but it means the token reached a real liquidity pool.
- Safer memes: only tokens that passed a security check. That means at least $10k of liquidity, 100 or more holders, top 10 wallets at 30% or less, dev wallet at 5% or less, mint and freeze revoked, LP 90% burned or locked, and at least one social link.
- Fresh gems, High volume and Safest new work the same way with different thresholds. You can open the advanced drawer, change any value and save your own preset.
The tool checks the visible rows lazily, in small batches. It uses RugCheck for Solana and GoPlus Security plus a Honeypot.is buy-and-sell simulation for EVM chains. Results are cached for 30 minutes, so the free APIs are not hammered. While a row is waiting, its risk badge shows a question mark. With Hide honeypots, high tax and rugged on, a checked token that fails is removed from view.
📊The metrics that matter
The money in the pool that you sell into. Under $10k, even a small sell moves the price a lot, and the pool can be drained.
Healthy: > $50kIf the fully diluted value is 100 or more times the liquidity, the price is mostly air. Nobody can exit at that valuation.
Watch: > 50×Daily volume many times the pool size is either a hot token or wash trading by bots. Check whether the buyers are distinct wallets.
Suspicious: > 30×The share of buys among transactions. Near 100% with almost no sells is a classic honeypot pattern: people can buy but cannot sell.
Normal: 40-65%If ten wallets hold most of the supply, they decide the price. The scanner excludes known AMM, burn and locker accounts where the data allows.
Safer: < 30%RugCheck shows the creator's balance and insider networks on Solana. A dev with many earlier tokens is often a serial launcher.
Safer: dev < 5%On Solana, an active mint authority can print new tokens, and an active freeze authority can lock your wallet. Both should be revoked.
Want: revokedIf the liquidity tokens are not burned or locked, the deployer can pull the pool. That is the classic rug pull.
Safer: ≥ 95%Bonding-curve tokens are different. On pump.fun, a new token trades on a curve until about $69k-$100k market cap, then graduates. The feed estimates progress from the price, with a small bar and a percentage. While a token is on the curve, liquidity and LP rules do not apply. They are replaced by a smaller "still on the curve" warning, because the curve itself cannot be rugged in the usual way. Dumping by the dev and bundles still can happen.
🚨Common scams: honeypots, rugs, tax traps and wash trading
Honeypot. The contract lets you buy but blocks or heavily taxes selling. GoPlus flags known honeypot code, and Honeypot.is simulates a real buy and sell to measure what happens. If either one says honeypot, the score jumps to 90 or more no matter how good the other numbers look.
Tax trap. The token can be sold, but with a 20%, 50% or even 99% sell tax. Our tests include a BNB Chain token called "SAFEMOON" at that address, with a sell tax of 99.99%. Watch also for modifiable tax: the owner can raise the tax after you buy.
Rug pull. The team removes the liquidity or dumps a huge pre-mined supply. The warning signs are unlocked LP, a large owner or creator balance, an active mint authority, and a "hidden owner" or "take back ownership" function.
Wash trading. Bots trade with themselves to make a token look busy and push it up trending lists. A volume-to-liquidity ratio in the dozens with few holders is a strong hint. Paid DexScreener boosts are shown as a lightning badge. A boost is marketing, not a signal of quality.
🧮How the risk score works
The rules are transparent and listed under Why this score for every token. They include:
- Liquidity under $1k, $10k or $50k.
- Pair age under 1 hour or 24 hours.
- FDV more than 50 or 200 times liquidity.
- Volume more than 30 times liquidity.
- No sells, or heavy selling.
- Price swings over 300% in a day.
- No security data at all.
- Honeypot or failed simulation.
- Sell tax at 8%, 20% or 40%, buy tax, and transfer tax.
- Owner can change balances, hidden owner, take-back ownership, active mint or freeze, upgradeable proxy, modifiable tax, blacklist, pause, self-destruct, and closed source.
- Top 10 holders over 30%, 50% or 80%.
- Creator over 5% or 20%.
- Insiders, and a dev with five or more earlier tokens.
- Unlocked LP.
- A meme with zero socials.
A low score means the scanner did not find the usual warning signs. It does not mean a token is safe or will go up. Many rugs are run by people who know exactly which checks scanners do.
📈Majors: BTC, ETH, SOL and big memes
Type BTC, ETH, SOL, BNB, XRP or another large coin, and the analyzer switches to market mode. It shows:
- CoinGecko market data.
- A 200-day candlestick chart from Binance public market data, with SMA 20, SMA 50 and RSI 14.
- The 24-hour range and 30-day annualized volatility.
- Distance from the all-time high.
For a major, the gauge shows RSI instead of a risk score: above 70 is overheated and below 30 is oversold. Big memes like PEPE get both the DEX safety scan and this market block.
🔍Limits and honest gaps
Everything runs in your browser on free public APIs, so some professional data is not available. Sniper counts, bundle detection, KOL and smart-money wallets, and bubble maps need paid or private data. The scanner labels those fields as unavailable instead of guessing. Holder and LP numbers come from GoPlus and RugCheck and can lag by minutes. If an API is busy and returns a 429 error, the tool backs off automatically and shows a retry button. Data from free APIs can be wrong or late, so always double-check before acting.
Frequently asked questions
Is this meme coin scanner free?
Yes. It is completely free, needs no account, wallet or API key, and runs in your browser using public data from DexScreener, GeckoTerminal, GoPlus Security, RugCheck, Honeypot.is, Binance and CoinGecko.
How do I check if a token is a honeypot?
Paste the contract address into the scanner. On Ethereum, BNB Chain and Base it combines the GoPlus honeypot flag with a Honeypot.is buy and sell simulation, and shows the buy and sell tax. A confirmed honeypot always scores 90 or more.
Can it detect a rug pull before it happens?
No tool can promise that. The scanner shows the conditions that make a rug possible: unlocked liquidity, an active mint or freeze authority, a large dev or top-10 balance, hidden owner functions and insider wallets. Fewer of these means less risk, not zero risk.
Which chains does the live feed cover?
Solana, Base, BNB Chain, Ethereum and Tron, including pump.fun, PumpSwap, LetsBonk, four.meme, SunPump, Zora and Clanker launches. The analyzer also accepts tokens on other chains that DexScreener lists, with safety data where GoPlus supports the chain.
What does the risk score mean?
It is a 0 to 100 sum of transparent warning rules, each one explained under Why this score. 0-19 is low, 20-39 moderate, 40-59 elevated, 60-79 high and 80-100 extreme. A low score is not a promise that a token is safe or will go up.
Why do some rows show a question mark instead of a score?
The safety scan for new tokens runs lazily for the visible rows, in small batches, to respect the free API limits. A question mark means the check is still waiting or the source had no data for that token.
Does it show snipers, bundles or smart-money wallets?
Not yet. That data needs paid or private APIs. The scanner shows insider networks and dev history from RugCheck on Solana, and it labels the missing data as unavailable instead of guessing.
Is this financial advice?
No. This is an educational tool. New tokens are extremely risky: most fall to zero and many are scams. Never invest money you cannot afford to lose, and check regulator warnings from the SEC, FCA and ESMA.
